Intrepidus Talent Solutions
Why Intrepidus exists

Most staffing firms that work in aerospace and defense started somewhere else. They were generalist recruiters who added aerospace and defense to a list of industries they serve.

We went the other direction. We spent the foundational years of our careers inside aerospace and defense — Rodney as a talent acquisition leader at L3Harris, David leading talent acquisition at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems. We worked with executives to plan hiring for multi-billion dollar programs. We built the talent acquisition strategies. We understand how aerospace and defense companies decide who to hire, and how that process breaks down.

Intrepidus is what we built with that knowledge. A staffing firm that works in aerospace and defense and nothing else — close to the companies, fluent in the work, and present in the two regions where the industry is concentrated. We’re not a generalist firm with an aerospace and defense practice. Aerospace and defense is our focus.

East Region President

Rodney leads Intrepidus’s East Region from Melbourne, Florida, at the center of the Space Coast.

He spent over a decade at L3Harris, the Fortune 500 aerospace and defense company headquartered in Melbourne, leading Global Talent Acquisition and Administration at corporate headquarters — where he developed and ran talent acquisition strategy across the enterprise. Before founding Intrepidus, he led talent acquisition for Amazon Advertising’s Products and Technology organization, and earlier founded Stigall & Associates, a talent management consulting practice serving aerospace, technology, biomedical, and industrial clients.

Rodney holds a B.S. from Florida State University and an M.A. in I/O psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with an executive certificate in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. He also serves as COO of Boolie, an AI platform for recruiters.

He has also held senior talent leadership roles as Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Creative Artists Agency and Global Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon Advertising, where he led a 56-person team hiring software, technical program management, and engineering talent. Earlier in his career he held recruiting leadership roles at PwC and at Robert Half, the global finance and accounting staffing firm.

David holds a B.A. from UCLA and an M.A. from the University of San Francisco. He also serves as CEO of Boolie, an AI platform for recruiters.

How we work

Aerospace and defense staffing is our core. The searches we run are for companies building space, defense, or dual-use systems and adjacent technology. We don’t divide our attention across industries, and we don’t take work outside the field we know.

We’re present in both regions. America’s aerospace and defense industry is concentrated on two coasts, 2,500 miles apart. Each of our regions is led by a partner who lives in that market and built their career inside a prime there. When you work with Intrepidus, you work with a partner — not a coordinator who routes your search to someone else.

We’re direct about fit. If a search isn’t right for us — wrong specialty, wrong geography, a role we don’t think we can fill well — we’ll tell you, and where we can, we’ll point you to someone better suited. We’d rather decline a search than run one we can’t do well.

We’re transparent on terms. Pricing and engagement structure are clear before any work begins. No surprises, no opaque fees.
